Amazingly Me

I woke up last night soaking wet and sweating heavily, opened my eyes and it was peach it was then I realized that there is a power interruption. I was too afraid to get up so I opted to grab my cellphone so that I could have some light. I was alone at home, my sister went out of town which made it a lot harder and scarier for me. Using my cellphone's backlight I went looking for our flashlight which I found on top of the refrigerator.  But its battery is dead, my sister was not able to buy any spare vtech batteries and I was in rage.The heat I can handle but not the darkness. I went looking for any candles, I found one luckily but could not find a match or a lighter talk about one unlucky night. I sat on the couch in the middle of the night, pushing my cellphone's button every now and then to create some light, waited there till the power came back. First thing I did this morning was went to the store and bought some spare batteries, I do not want that same thing to happen ever again.
