Chapter 1: What On Earth Am I Here For?
Haven’t we all asked ourselves that same question, we would often ask what’s the purpose of our existence, why are we even on this earth, what’s our mission, our end goal. A very complicated question that would lead us to seek the answers from the wrong sources, misleading yet very convincing sources. Not only do we seek from the wrong sources but usually we start at the place. And I quote the author saying “you cannot arrive at your life’s purpose by starting with a focus on yourself, you must begin with God, your creator.
In the book we are being compared to a new invention, an invention no one has ever seen nor used before. No one would know its purpose neither does the invention know for itself what it is for, but the only one who knows is its INVENTOR. And as a person like the invention the one who knows our purpose on this earth is the one who made us, one who created us. The inventor would probably provide a user’s manual and in our case God gave us the bible as our manual. All the answer to all our questions is there, it is more powerful than the internet. The answers we can get there far more accurate than the ones we get from google or yahoo or what other search engine available.
This is my favorite part of the chapter that the author wrote: “It is only in God that we discover our origin, our identity, our meaning, our purpose, our significance, and our destiny. Every other path leads to a dead end.”

What an interesting book sis, I think I need to grab that one soon too.
You sound better now, I guess the storm is over and you can see the sunshine coming. Keep smiling my dear, life is too short, we need to enjoy every inch of it.
Sometimes we need to get hurt in order to learn from our experience. And experience is the best thing that mold us to become a better person.
Happy Wednesday sis.. remember I'm always here to give you my ears and if I was there, my shoulder to cry on.
