Its Never Too Late

I met her during a family reunion about 2 years ago. I was with my mom and grandmother who were here in the Philippines for vacation. I was so happy to learn that they've both decided to help her and send her to school. My mom told her to take up an online business degree which made her really excited. Although a bit hesitant because she has a small business at home but my mom explained to her that with the online business degree that she will be taking she doesn't have to leave the house, which means she can still attend to her small store and other businesses.

We were able to bump into each other yesterday and she was very proud to share to me that she is almost done. I can tell from the expression in her face how grateful she is, I am so proud of her as well. She just proved to me that as long as you are determined to achieve something it is never too late to dream and reach that star.

Grants for Women for College

In the old times and in most civilizations women were considered secondary citizens. We were not given the same privilege that men gets most especially in education. Although in very few societies nowadays this still exists but majority of the women in the world are basically getting the same opportunities as the men do. Thanks to all the women who fought for equal rights and have shown that we can also do and even perform better than men in almost all aspects in the society.

Education is an important tool for every person, but nowadays education especially in college is very expensive. It is because of this reason that women who do not have the financial capacity to send themselves to school do not get the much needed education that will enable them to better their lives as well as their families. Good thing there are now available college grants for women. These grants are available to women who qualifies like those who are single mothers or those who comes from middle class families. And since it is a grant those who will receive it will no longer have to pay for it.
