It has been 3 years since I worked as a Radiologic Technologist. I stopped way back 2013 after working for my first employer for 8 years. Since then I have decided not to go back and worked as call center agent, college instructor, even had my own business. But I realized after doing all those things I was not happy. I thought at first it was the pay that was making dissatisfied but since I decided to accept a job offer and work as a RadTech again that I learned that after all this time it was the job that was making me not happy.
I am now the new Chief Radiologic Technologist in the Radiology Department of Metropolitan Polymedic Communnity Hospital in Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte. It is situated in a small municipality north of Davao City. A 2-3 hours bus ride from where I live, I had to sacrifice because of the fact that I have to be temporarily separated from my kids but the kind of fulfillment that my job is going me I think is all worth it. I admit the pay is not that much but as long as I love and enjoy my work everyday it don't really matter at all.
