This is actually a movie I watched last night. All the while I thought there was nothing special about the movie but after watching it I can now say I can put it in my favorite movie list. Why? Well the soundtrack rocks, "Heroes" by David Bowie and "Asleep" by The Smiths. Aside from the fact that I find Emma Watson really pretty, the character portrayed by Ezra Miller in the movie was queer yet very interesting. It was his character that I could totally relate to. Its not that I am gay like him, not in that sense but in the movie he plays a free spirited and happy-go-lucky young high school student but deep inside he holds a lot of pain that he tends to hide.
I end up crying while watching the movie, oh well at the end part only. There was this scene where Sam (Emma Watson) and Charlie (Logan Lerman) were having a conversation about Sam's break-up with Craig (his much older boyfriend). Sam broke up with him because she caught him cheating, the day after they broke up Craig invited her out for lunch to talk. Craig told her that her decision to split up was right, after he told her that Sam felt so little and thought to herself, this time she told Charlie what she thought, "Why do I always pick to love someone who treats me like I am nothing?". Darn, kept playing that line over and over again, as if it was me telling it to myself. Then Charlie told her "we accept the love we think we deserve". (sob,sob,sob)....
The best line from the movie, I have to say is the line Charlie said,
“please believe that things are good with me, and even when they're not,
they will be soon enough. And i will always believe the same about
you.”
