The annual Kadayawan Festival in Davao City has just been concluded. Dubbed as the "King of all Fetivals", the Kadayawan 2012 theme 10 Tribes 1 Vibe was indeed depicted in this year's celebration. The usual events and competitions like the Search for the Hiyas ng Kadayawan, Indak-Indak sa Kadalanan (street dancing), Pamulak sa Kadayawan (floral float parade) and many more were the festival's highlights.
The city government of Davao are proud to say that this year's celebration was indeed successful. As always the most if not all of the activities focused on giving on the unity of all the different tribes that resides in the city. They wanted to emphasize that despite how diverse these tribes are they can still live together in peace and harmony.
Looking forward to next year's celebration, hopefully it will be as successful if not even more that this year's. Congratulations to all the Davaoeños .
