One evening I went home late and found my sister inside my room with swollen eyes and still sobbing. Asked her what was wrong, I though she and her boyfriend had a fight which caused her to cry that hard. After I was able to settle down that's when she told me, it was all because of a movie.
The movie she was talking about is the Indian movie "Taare Zameen Par" (every Child is Special). She said watching really touched her heart and that the little child who played the lead role was indeed very effective. The following weekend after that I decided to watch the movie myself, found myself crying as well. The movie was about a little child who was suffering from Dyslexia, but his parents did not know about it. They thought the boy was just simply dumb, lazy and naughty.
Somehow the movie touched in a special way simply because of the fact that I am going to be a mother soon. It broke my heart seeing that the very people that child thought would understand him were the very ones who judged him and failed to understand his problem. But I cannot really judge the parents, all they wanted was the best for their child that is why they tried so hard to push him and discipline him at the same time.
Went to a very sophisticated hospital yesterday, they were very sophisticated that they are the fist ones to use healthcare carts in the area. Went there for my monthly check-up. Did not go there on my first and second pre-natal but opted to go there to be able to get the best possible medical attention as possible. Will not mind the cost as long as I know its for my baby. The movie somehow taught me that.
