Amazingly Me

Filipinos would usually commemorate the suffering and death of our Lord Jesus Christ in so many ways. But mostly involves also sacrificing and penitence. And since majority of the Filipinos are Roman Catholics only a small part of the people are not doing it. But I have noticed in the past years the number of people who are actually practicing the traditional holy week commemoration is decreasing. Many would take advantage of the long holiday to go on vacation and have fun. Some would go out of town, to a beach resort or get together with families and friends.

I am guilty of that myself. Although I did not join my friends on a beach getaway and opted to stay home but still I know I did something no so holy on holy week. How about you? How did you spend your holy week?
