What I hate about times like this, premenstrual period, is my sudden change in eating habit as well as mood swings. I finally know now why when I am PMSing I crave for certain kind of food especially those that are rich in carbohydrates. It is all because of fluctuating or the changing in the chemicals of the brain due to the increase in production of hormones like estrogen and progesterone.  They will cause the imbalance of some brain chemicals called neurotransmitters. Serotonin is the brain chemical which will cause us to crave for carbohydrates at this point. Which explains my sudden love for rice, pasta's and other carbohydrate rich food. And I feel like I have gained so much weight. 

If this goes on and get out of control I might consider treatment like Hormone replacement therapy just to correct it.
