While riding on a bus today, for three hours back and forth for a total of six, I was able to think about a lot of things. One of which is forgiveness. I know I have said so many times that I have forgiven people who have hurt me before, but then again have I really truly forgiven them? When do we know that what we feel is genuine forgiveness? So I took a book from my sister's collection, ssshhh, she doesn't know I touched her stuffs. The book is entitled "Nuggets of Wisdom". It is a great book. So it was there that I got some of these quotes and I want to share them with all of you.
" We are most like beast when we kill. We are most like men when we judge. We are most like God when we FORGIVE." - Dale Galloway
I can forgive, but I cannot forget, is only another of way saying "I will not forgive." Forgiveness ought to be like a canceled note - torn in two and burned up, so that it never can be shown against one. - Henry Ward Beecher
"The person who has developed the fine art of forgiveness not only spares himself much wasteful mental anguish and wear and tear but sets a shining example to others." - Walter Duckat
