UFC 100 - History in the Making indeed made history, in my opinion it featured the best set of figthers which in turn gave the UFC fans what they came for "ACTION".The four main events were marvelous. A couple of controversial decisions by the judges, for me the most controversial is the fight between Yoshihiro Akiyama and Alan Belcher. I really thought Belcher had the fight in the bag but the judges thought otherwise giving the win to Akiyama via a split decision.
Dan Henderson and Michael Bisping's battle was amazing. Awarded the "Knockout of the Night" the thirty eight year old Henderson TKOed the much younger Michael Bisping sending him unconscious into the canvass. The former two time Pride champion again proved that he can still fight and now wants to have a rematch with Anderson Silva who previously defeated him via submission (rear naked choke).
My favorite UFC fighter, welterweight champion, French-Canadian George St. Pierre successfully defended his title against Thiago Alves. GSP won in a majority judges' decision after five rounds. St. Pierre's superior wrestling and Jiu Jitsu prowess was no match to the mere strenght and kickboxing style of Alves.
The main event of the night was the heavy weight title defense of Brock Lesnar against the only MMA fighter who defeated him, Frank Mir. The referree stopped the fight during the second round. A controversial statement made by Lesnar after the fight where he promoted the rival product of one of PPV's endorser. But Lesnar later apologized.
