Mahjong is a game for four players which originated in China. It is a game that requires skills, strategy and a certain amount of luck as well as calculation. For most Filipino families I know mahjong has become one of their favorite bonding activity. My family, from my great grandmother down to my cousins, mahjong is taught and played. I have not played it though for a while now, the last time I did was like a year ago.When I was younger I used to remember waking up in the middle of the night looking for my mom then we would know the following morning that she was in our heigbhor's house playing mahjong till dawn. My mom got hooked with it that she and my dad would fight about it. I was in the same situation for a while, I used to play with my friends before till morning even if I still have to go to work afterwards.
But it's been more than a year now that I have not played and I really missed it. I want to play again but not the way I used to. Just for fun and as bonding activity with my friends.
