Kelly Slater, the athlete, the philanthropist, the thinker, the nine time ASP World Champ, now the author. Slater is dubbed to be the best surfer ever to come out of Florida. He currently holds the record for winning the ASP Championship nine amazing times. This 36 year old, of part Syrian descent and magnificent surfer owns a pair of tantalizing, and pretty eyes but aside from his great surfing skills, handsome face, great body and big heart Slater exposes another side of him as he releases his new book entitled "For the Love".He talks about his book during his recent visit to NYC when he was interviewed by EXPN correspondent Jon Coen. As I dug up Kelly's portfolio I discovered a lot of other things that I still don't know about him that maybe most of his loyal fans already know. Well the striking of all is that he's done a couple of movies already one of which is "Surf's Up" (most of his films he played as himself).
I have seen a couple of surfing videos which showcased him and other professional surfers during major competitions, although I'm not an expert when it comes to surfing I can tell he's really good at what he does.
