I have been blogging for almost a year now but I have not posted a single photo of the place where I work. By the way my job is medically inclined, I work as a Radiologic Technologist in one of the clinics here in Davao City. Basically what I do is perform X-rays and Ultrasound, I also develop the films and encode the results. In my department I am the lone Radtech so I do everything. I work with Radiologist and Sonologist. Medical doctors specializing in Ultrasound and X-ray.
The X-ray Room
The Ultrasound RoomIt is here where I scan patients for ultrasound procedures. Almost 90% of my patients are pregnant. They come to us for pregnancy evaluation and fetal sex determination. Our machine is quite obsolete but its still accurate.
My OfficeThis is where I spend most of my time, when I don't have patients to attend to. This is where I do my blogs..My little haven, my hiding place..
I just had the most exhausting day in my history of working here..I had almost 60 patients for x-ray today and 15 patients for ultrasound. Had to attend to all of them and after the procedure I still had to encode all their results..By the way I have been working here for almost four years now..
