Amazingly Me

Every time a friend or someone from the family travels to another country or in other parts of the Philippines the usual souvenir they'd bring with them are keychains, ref magnets, t-shirts etc. I actually have a collection of different kind of key chains and ref magnets stacked away in a box because I have ran out of space in our refrigerator to stick them into or I have no more keys to used the key chains anymore. 

But there's this one unique souvenir I received from a friend who is a musician. He went to the United States to visit his sick mom and when he came back he gave me this very cute gama go key tars and key caps. He even gave me a guitar shaped spatula also from gama go. Duh he knows I love to cook and like him I also like music, it was actually really very thoughtful of him he was able to combine both cooking and music into one. 

Growing up I was not really into musical instruments. The very first musical instruments I found myself really interested was the drums which is the reason why I decided to join our school's drum and bugle corps. Although my mother was really not 100% supportive of my choice of instrument, because she really wanted me to join and be one of the baton twirlers. A drummer I was. I was already 9 years old that time. Amazingly my son who is only 4 years old, has shown a very early inclination with a not so popular musical instrument, when it comes to kids that is. He is fond of blowing horns and making different sound with it. I can really see that he is pretty interested which is the reason why I decided to know more about the instrument and what are the different types of horns. Actually I started with knowing what horn instruments are. 

I am now the new Chief Radiologic Technologist in the Radiology Department of Metropolitan Polymedic Communnity Hospital in Sto. Tomas, Davao del Norte. It is situated in a small municipality north of Davao City. A 2-3 hours bus ride from where I live, I had to sacrifice because of the fact that I have to be temporarily separated from my kids but the kind of fulfillment that my job is going me I think is all worth it. I admit the pay is not that much but as long as I love and enjoy my work everyday it don't really matter at all.

I was in a club a couple of days ago where a friend of mine who is a band member had a gig and I was there to support him. I was so amazed with the clubs sound effects because unlike other clubs when the music is too loud it would hurt your ear but there it was not the case. I got the chance to chat with the club's manager and he told me that they have a special kind of sound effects supplier. He said just recently they purchased the musiciansfriend.com pedal effects and a lot has noticed a big changed in the quality of sound they are producing. 

I would love to go back to that club again to unwind. 

Duh, how would I know. I did not even know there's such a thing. I actually just overheard my male friends discussing yesterday about it. One even mentioned he was going to buy a jim dunlop capo online but was not sure which one to buy since there are many kinds of capo to choose from. Since he was confused he consulted our friend who has more knowledgeable about capos. I was listening but I have no idea at first what exactly they are discussing about, good thing they mentioned the word guitar it gave me an idea that maybe it is guitar accessory. And yes I am right it is what I think it is.

Just a couple of days ago I opened my very own school and office supplies store. In preparation for the opening of the school year. A lot of my neighbors are very happy about what I did because the nearest store that sells school and office supplies is very far, atleast now they can buy their childrens educational needs anytime because there's a store nearby.

That's what Rhianna is singing about lately and I think currently that is my mantra as well. I am presently working on my little business which I am planning to open very, very soon. But first I have to make sure that everything is ready and well thought off. And as part of our preparation here's me doing the dirty work.
