Medically known as open comedones, blackheads is common in people who has oily and combination (oily and dry) skin. A blackehead is not actually caused by not frequent washing of your face, instead it is brought about by excessive deposit of oil. It is colored black because sebum which is one of the components composing the oil darkens when exposed to oxygen.
