Sofia Mulanovich is a Peruvian surfer of Croatian descent and the first ever Peruvian to win an Association of Surfing Professionals World Championship Tour event. She won the world title also claiming the right to be the first South American to do such feat. she won three out of the six World Championship Tour events and finished the season as World Champion.
