Amazingly Me

Yesterday after work I went to an old friend's new place, I have not seen him for quite a while so we have a little catching up to do. He just moved in to his new pad so he was still fixing the place I even offered to help coz I think he really needs a hand. While we were both busy arranging his stuffs he was also busy updating me about his life, his job, his family but most were about his lovelife. Past tense since he and his girlfriend already broke up over a very shallow reason.

For a guy he's got too many interesting stuffs in his stash which made me wondered. Besides I've known him for almost ten years now and most of his relationship don't really last that long for what reason I cannot really say. Found a couple of boxes full of pretty items like colorful frames, cool vases, an antique lampshade and eye catching area rugs. I was just waiting for him to confess and admit that he's from the third kind coz I can't ask him straight. Rather I asked where he got all those amazing stuffs, his answers didn't really came as a surprise. He got them from garage sales and online shopping. All of it were very cheap, in fact the rugs were ordered online. He hasn't changed a bit, he's still very frugal.

We were done decorating and arranging at around two am, had to hit the road and go home. Took home with me the beautiful cheap rugs and he wasn't able to do anything to stop me from doing so..
